"The Oriental Spread - Far Eastern Food Festival" has kicked off at The Peninsula Chittagong, a star hotel in the port city.
Peninsula Chittagong General Manager Sumedha Gunawardena officially inaugurated the festival at the Peninsula's Laguna Restaurant with a variety of exotic dishes from East and Southeast Asia on Thursday evening.
All departments heads and senior officials of various departments were present at the event.
Peninsula always hosts diverse and traditional dishes from different countries for its domestic and foreign guests. In line with this, "The Oriental Spread - Far Eastern Food Festival" has been organized this time.
The festival features a large selection of signature dishes from East and Southeast Asian countries including Japan, China, Taiwan, Mongolia, and more, with a buffet dinner of around 100+ menus.
The Peninsula will showcase the culinary traditions of these countries, including tropical starters and diverse main dishes, as well as a variety of fruits and sweets. Through this, this specialized food festival will also present cultural richness and seasonal diversity along with the food festival.
Peninsula Chittagong invites you to enjoy a special festival buffet dinner featuring diverse cuisines from East and Southeast Asia.
The festival will continue till June.
