Professor Dr Rafiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University of Science and Technology (RUET) inaugurated the week-long Tree Planting Programme-2021 at RUET campus on Thursday morning.
The Tree Planting Programme was attended, among others, by the RUET Registrar (in charge) of RUET Professor Dr Selim Hossain, Student Welfare Director Dr Rabiul Awal, President and the General Secretary of RUET Teachers' Association Prof Dr Faruk Hossain and Prof Dr Mia Jaglul Sadat respectively, Administrator of Central Computer Centre Dr Ali Hossain, Deputy Directors of Students' Welfare Mamunur Rashid and Abu Sayed, President of RUET Officers' Association Dilip Kumar Ghose, President of RUET unit of Chhatra League Naim Rahman Nibir and Abdullah Al Mamun Shuvo.
During the week a total of 1,000 tree saplings will be planted in RUET campus.
