Webinar on Martyred Intellectual day held, new book cover unveiled

Webinar on Martyred Intellectual day,1971  and creation of Victory Day ,1971 and current scenario of the economy in Bangladesh was organized by Entrepreneurial Economists club ,Dhaka School of Economics on Wednesday.

In the webinar, speakers stated that the victory of Bangladesh created a scope for developing the country by the present Government. The country became independent by the Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Speakers urged that to read three books of the Bangabandhu written by him. They argued that now intellectuals are also being harassed by the BNP-Jamaat -leftist by creating false propaganda and harassing honest educated people which must be stopped. India's the then Prime minister Late Indira  Gandhi ,Former USSR and People of USA, Europe and Iraq  always in favor of our independence as commented by the experts .They appealed to the government for Dhaka School of Economics boosted by their Entrepreneurial Economics programme which is an important for serving the nation and self-employment opportunities including Master programme of Entrepreneurship and Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise development programme is very important syllabus to survive under University of Dhaka. Prof. Abdul Mannan ,Former Chairman ,UGC was Chief guest while keynote paper presenter was Lt. Col. (Retd.) Quazi Sajjad Ali Zahir Bir Protik where session chair was Professor Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali ,Dhaka School of Economics.

During the webinar, book over of "Mukthijudhar Golpa" written by Muhammad Mahboob Ali was unveiled.

Prof Abdul Mannan ,Former Chairman ,UGC underscored that to create financial inclusion and to remove disparity ,from1948 in different aspects people and Bangabandhu took the challenge to develop the country which was devastated by the west Pakistanis during the independence war. The country is progressing economically as food self-sufficiency has occurred.

Professor Mannan said that disposable income of the country has raised in the country which accelerate the economy to becoming transformation for developing to developed nation in 2041.During COVID-19,Bangladesh management is 8th and among 23 countries positive growth Bangladesh is 3rd position as commented by Professor Mannan. He also commented that Bangladesh is now a role model of development where people are resilient. Professor Mannan argued that Bangabandhu is a great strategist for whom the country became independent. Each day of 1971 was a day of intellectual people's death by Pakistanis with collaborators which ended 14th December,1971 before the country emerged from independence and freedom from second colonial era, said by Professor Mannan.

Lt. Col. (Retd.) Quazi Sajjad Ali Zahir Bir Protik, Swadhinata Padak Awardee as keynote presenter argued that Bangabandhu was a great leader who understand the people's pulse and he observed the Pakistanis attitude towards the Bengalese. Mr Zahir told about ' Larkana Conspiracy' where conspiracy was seeded to start genocide in this area to kill people and keep the imperialisms in this area to suck capital and repatriate fund from this area to Pakistan .Bangabandhu was a great person who created Bangladesh.6th demand placed by the Mujib shaheb was the great policy to cater demand of the people of the nation for enforcing equity consideration. In the name of false propaganda, Pakistanis plan to create people of this country and to uproot them from their root and convert to create a new race of birth who will be their next generation of Albadar, Alshams and Alrazakar. History of independence war which makes people  to transform and attitude towards war to free from criminals and barbers  and Bangladesh become independent and tragic death of Father of the nation.

Professor Dr Muhammad Mahboob Ali said that Bangladesh was created by Bangabandhu and now his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is trying to develop the country smart Bangladesh for her visionary and missionary leadership ,Bangladesh will become LDC graduate in 2026.As Prime Minister of Sheikh Hasina devoted herself for welfare state and develop human being through removing income inequality and ensuring social justice ,so everyone must work in his/her position and false complainer need to be punished.  

Rehana Parvin, Assistant Professor ,DScE argued that Bangladesh is now developing despite International recession. Dr.Sara Tasneem , Assistant Professor, DScE opined  that intellectual class of the country must work independently in Bangladesh which was underscored by the Honorable Prime Minister.
