The met office on Saturday predicted that weather would remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am, reports BSS. Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and it may abate from some places, said a met office release here on Saturday.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late-night to morning. Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country, the bulletin added.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 29.6 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Chattogram, while Saturday’s minimum temperature was 6.7 degree Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur Division. The sun sets at 5:49 pm on Saturday and rises at 6:36 am Sunday in the capital.
