Awami League Joint General Secretary and Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that the BNP departmental mass meeting should be held in Suhrawardy Udyan, we cannot allow chaos in the country.

In Nayapaltan in Dhaka where 30 to 50 thousand people will gather, there is no way a gathering of 8-10 lakh people is possible. The government has promised to allocate them Suhrawardy Udyan for good reasons. The meeting of the Chhatra League, which was scheduled for December 8, has been postponed to the 6th so that they can have a smooth rally at Suhrawardy Udyan.
But their purpose is different—to cause a stir. The government cannot allow arsonists from all over the country to create chaos in Dhaka. The government has to take measures in order to maintain the safety of people's vehicles, peace and stability. In this case too, if they finally refuse and express their position to hold a rally in Nayapaltan, then the government will express the position of the government. As we have already said, Awami League will be vigilant in every ward. We have requested the leaders and workers to be careful. Awami League will be on guard from ward to ward so that no one can create chaos in the country. If necessary, Awami League will resist those who create chaos with the people, he said.
Hasan Mahmud also said, we cannot allow them to disrupt the chaos in the country. They (BNP) will hold a peaceful rally. Suhrawardy Udyan has been allotted to them to hold that peaceful rally.
He said, amid the Russia-Ukraine war, commodity prices across the country have skyrocketed. It is not that it has not increased in our country. It has also affected our country. But growth is lower in many cases compared to other countries. Bangladesh is moving forward despite this adverse situation.
Bangladesh's per capita income has surpassed India's amid the Corona pandemic. Actually Bangladesh is the stage of prosperity today, no matter what anyone says.
Highlighting the development plan of the Awami League government, he said, "What will be the population of this country after 100 years, what will be the situation of our coast due to the impact of climate change, we have made Delta Plan 2100."
Addressing the media, the information minister said, we are always busy with bad news. I am very busy with political news. But it is necessary to inform the people that the country is going towards prosperity. People need to know that the government has made these plans, is taking the country forward and has made a grand plan to go.
