The Dhaka WASA Innovation Team will assist in the preparation of designing e-service roadmap and facilitating citizens. At the same time, WASA has formed an innovation sub-committee to speed up the activities of the innovation cell.
The sub-committee will inform the main committee of the Innovation Cell about the design and activities of service facilities of its wing through the wing head.
The information was confirmed to Bangladesh Post by the WASA authorities concerned on Monday. The innovation cell sub-committee was formed through an office order signed by WASA Secretary Engineer Sharmin Haque Amir.
The three-member sub-committee has been constitute by Dhaka WASA Deputy Chief Accounts Officer Salekur Rahman. Officer of the Accounts Department, Mominul Islam has been made the Member Secretary and Accountant Hatem Tai made member.
In this regard, WASA Secretary Engineer Sharmin Haque Amir said, “The committee will hold at least one meeting a month and at least 10 meetings a year.”
He added that the sub-committee will inform the main committee of the innovation cell through the concerned wing head about the new concept of innovation and service facilitation activities of its wing. The sub-committee will liaise with the Dhaka WASA Innovation Team to facilitate citizen services and prepare an e-service road map.
