Walton exports AC to Yemen

The local multinational electronics brand Walton has exported ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labelled energy-efficient and eco-friendly global standard split type air conditioner (AC) to Yemen. 

Among the electronics manufacturers in Bangladesh, Walton is sole exporter of locally made ACs and fridges to Yemen. 

On this occasion, the company organised a ‘Celebration Programme of Walton Air Conditioner Export to Yemen’ at the conference room of Walton corporate office in Dhaka on Sunday, said a press release. 

Company’s senior officials, including executive directors Eva Rezwana, SM Zahid Hasan, Nazrul Islam Sarker, Mohammad Rayhan, Uday Hakim, Sirajul Islam and Md. Tanvir Rahman, Walton’s International Business Unit’s (IBU) President Edward Kim, Deputy Executive Directors Md. Firoj Alam and Shahjada Salim, Additional Operative Director Khondoker Shariar Murshid, AC Dept’s Chief Operating Officer Engineer Ishaque Rony, Head of Asia, Middle East and Africa region of IBU  Roqibul Islam Rakib, Deputy Operative Director Mofizur Rahman were present at the event.

Roqibul Islam Rakib said that Walton received an export order of air conditioners from one of the leading electronics brands of Yemen in June, which have shipped in the first week of this month.
