The fourth National Voter’s Day celebrated and Smart NID Card distributed in Moulvibazar on Wednesday.
To mark the National Voter’s Day, a discussion meeting and rally was observed in Moulvibazar. District Administrator Mir Nahid Ahsan inaugurated the ceremony at the office premises organized by District Election Office and conducted by District Election Officer Alamgir Hossain .
Upazila Executive Officer Sabrina Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Ziyaur Rahman also spoke at the discussion meeting.
At that time, the District administrator handed over the smart NID card to two new voters. At the end of the inauguration, a rally went round the Dhaka-Sylhet road and ended at the office of District Election Officers.
General Secretary of Sadar Upazila Farhad Hossain, General Secretary of Press club Panna Dutta, and general officers of District Election Office were present at the celebration of National Voter’s Day.
