Vivek Oberoi has pledged to take care of nine families after PM Narendra Modi urged people to take care of others during the 21 day lockdown. “Time to be there for each other, time to be united! I have taken up Narendra Modi’s pledge to take care of 9 families for these 21 days! Urge each one of you to do your bit too and I look forward to seeing how you’re all doing whatever best you can!” shared Vivek Oberoi.
Every Bollywood actor is doing their bit to spread awareness and help in the time of crisis. From Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan - a lot of B-town celebrities have shot videos and are constantly urging their followers to stay safe, practice social distancing and take the necessary precautions.
Recently, Hrithik Roshan donated Rs 20 lakh for Coronavirus aid. “Hrithik has extended his support to the Government of Maharashtra in their endeavour to curb the spread of pandemic. He had been looking for ways to help the street level bureaucrats like the BMC workers and other caretakers who are out there and contributed a total amount of Rs 20 lakh to the cause,” a source said.
Earlier, Indian PM Modi urged people to clap, ring bells or bang utensils for five minutes to show their appreciation who have been providing medical and other essential services during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi on Monday took to his Twitter handle to show the after-effects of banging utensils — broken utensils — due to high enthusiasm by the people. —TOI
