Awareness exchange meeting on drug, militancy, rumors, cyber crime has been held at Barishal University.
The exchange of views was held at 11 am on Sunday at the Jibanananda Das Conference Hall of the University, jointly organized by Barishal University and Barishal Metropolitan Police's (Bandar Police Station).
Barishal University Proctor Dr Md Khorshed Alam addressed the meeting. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan, Director of Student Guidance and Counseling Center of Barishal University Dr Tareq Mahmud Abir, Director of Student-Teacher Center Jyotirmoy Biswas and Assistant Commissioner of Police Mehedi Hasan spoke at the awareness exchange meeting.
Speakers at the meeting emphasized on raising the awareness of the students about the above and advised the students to be on time.
Assistant Proctor of the University, among others, at the meeting Mohammad Mahfuz Alam, Assistant Proctor Sanbin Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Bandar Police Station and 2 CRs (Class Representatives) from each batch of 24 departments of Barishal University were present as representatives of Barishal University students.
