Due to outbreak of corona virus, a view exchange meeting was held over cattle shed in the district and as to how to maintain social distance and follow the health rules.
Deputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara presided over the view exchange meeting held at Deputy Commissioner's conference room on Tuesday noon. The meeting was attended by District Council Chairman Advocate Sohrab Hossain Biswas, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Yarul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police Masud Rana, Narail Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Salma Selim, Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mukul Kumar Maitra, Naldi UP Chairman Abul Kalam Azad Phakhi, Lahuria UP Chairman Sheikh Md. Daud Hossain, the Executive Magistrates of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, UP Chairmen, Leaseholder of hats and Bazars, Presidents and Secretaries of the Hat-Bazar Committee.
The deputy commissioner Anjuman Ara said that the animals had to be sold and bought in the upcoming sacrificial animal market by maintaining social distance and following the health rules. She further said that animals could not be bought and sold everywhere. Legal action would be taken against those who do not follow the hygiene rules.
