On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the distribution of rice under the VGF program has started at Chatmohar Municipal Court in Pabna on Sunday morning. Sakhawat Hossain, Mayor of Chatmohar Municipality and Vice President of Pabna District Awami League, inaugurated the rice distribution programme.
The municipal mayor said that 10 kg of rice will be distributed among 4 thousand 621 low-income families of 9 wards of the municipality till next Tuesday. These rice are being distributed through councilors. He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for sending gifts to the helpless poor families. The beneficiaries also thanked the Prime Minister after receiving the rice.
During the distribution of rice, Youth Development Officer Abdul Halim, Senatorial Inspector Abul Kalam Azad Dulal, Councilor Nazimuddin Mia, Mahatab Hossain, Kamrul Hasan Mintu, Wasim Uddin, Kamrunnahar and others were present.
