Chairman of Chattogram Zilla Parishad MA Salam inspected the work of various development projects at Patiya and Chandnaish upazilas of the district on Tuesday afternoon.
Among the projects inspected are 1000-seat auditorium construction project in Patiya upazila, District Parishad owned Patiya post bungalow reconstruction project, drain construction project next to Hedayet Ali Chowdhury house, development project by Nishchintapur Bakkhain road RCC, construction of Chandnaish municipality under Chandnaish upazila. Projects and development projects by RCC, internal road of Chandnaish Hospital are notable.
Chattogram Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Shabbir Iqbal, Senior Assistant Engineer Md. Monirul Islam, Member and Panel Chairman Debabrata Das and other concerned officials-employees of Parishad accompanied the chairman. During the inspection, Chairman MA Salam emphasized on speedy completion of related projects while maintaining quality standards and gave necessary directions to the engineers of the council in this regard.
MA Salam said development of rural infrastructure is essential to build a developed Bangladesh by fulfilling the vision of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's vision 2041. Chittagong Zilla Parishad is working towards that goal.
It may be mentioned that after his release from Corona, Chairman MA Salam took steps to visit all the upazilas to inspect the work of Zilla Parishad Development Project as part of which he completed the visit.
