US-Bangla Airlines has taken an initiative to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to all the medical college hospitals in the country as per their demand for the protection of doctors and nurses amid coronavirus outbreak.
They will bring PPE from China made as per the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and will supply to hospitals in accordance with demand, said a press release on Monday.
According to the authorities of the airlines, PPE will be supplied within a short time, after directors of the medical college hospitals make phone calls to their hotline number.
In this regard, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, Managing Director of US-Bangla Airlines said, “The coronavirus storm is shaking the whole world. In the present context, ensuring adequate protection of doctors and nurses is vital so that they can provide patient care in these critical situations.”
