US-Bangla Airlines, the largest private airline in the country is going to add new generation two Airbus 330 aircraft in its fleet in May this year.
The total number of seats in the newly added aircraft will be 436.
Flights to Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam in Saudi Arabia will be operated with newly added Airbus 330 aircraft. US-Bangla Airlines plans to operate flights to various destinations in Saudi Arabia to meet the long-term expectations of Bangladeshi Hajj, Umrah and expatriate workers.
Passengers travel to various destinations in Saudi Arabia through third carriers from Bangladesh spending extra fares and extra time in transit. US-Bangla Airlines has planned to operate flights to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam from next June to save domestic passengers from this suffering.
Currently, the US-Bangla fleet has a total of 17 aircraft. Of which seven are Boeing 737-800, seven are ATR 72-600 and three Dash 8-Q400 aircraft. This month, US-Bangla will add an ATR 72-600 and a Boeing 737-800 aircraft to further strengthen the fleet.
Currently, US-Bangla is operating domestic flights to Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jessore, Syedpur, Rajshahi and Barisal and to international destinations such as Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Muscat, Doha, Sharjah, Dubai.
