US-Bangla’s Dhaka-Bangkok, Ctg-Kolkata flights launched

Private carrier US-Bangla Airlines launched two international flights on Dhaka-Bangkok and on Chattogram-Kolkata routes on Thursday.

The flight on the Dhaka-Bangkok route took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital around 10.10am and it is scheduled to land at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 1.40 pm (local time), said Md Kamrul Islam, general manager (public relations) of the carrier.

The return flight will leave Bangkok around 2.40 pm (local time) on the same day and arrive in Dhaka around 4.20 pm.

The airline will operate flights on the Dhaka-Bangkok route five days a week, except Monday and Wednesday, he said. Meanwhile, the flight on the Chattogram-Kolkata route took off from Shah Amanat International Airport around 10.15 am and touched Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport around 11.40 pm (local time).

The return flight will leave Kolkata around 12.40 pm (local time) on the same day and it will arrive in Chattogram around 2.10 pm and the flight on the route will be operated seven days a week.

Apart from operating flights on all domestic routes, US-Bangla now runs flights to global destinations like Singapore, Chennai, Male, Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Sharjah, Dubai and Muscat, Kamrul said.
