Khanquah-e-Shaheed Mia Saheb's Maidan Khanquah Sharif, situated at Luxmibazar in the Old Dhaka has organized religious discussion, Hamd and Nat-e-Rasul (SM), milad and doa mahfil marking the holy Urs afrer Maghrib prayers today (Saturday).
Ninth goddinashin Pir Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahmadur Rahim, who is also the Mutawalli of Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and Director of Mia Saheb Maidan Shah Saheb Bari Jame Masjid, will conduct the religious discussion, doa mahfil and akheri munazat.
The programme will begin through recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Haji Dr Mohammad Istiaq Sazzadur Rahman and Hafez Faruk, and Hafez Rahmatulla will resume the milad mahfil.
A discussion and doa mahfil was also held on the occasion of the 86th death anniversary of Alhaj Hazrat Moulana Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yusuf Abdullah, the sixth goddinoshin pir of Mia Saheb Maidan Khanquah Shahrif and founder of Hazrat Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate.
Discussion on his life and activities work has been organised on the occasion.
Pesh Imam of Shah Saheb Bari Jame Masjid Hajrat Maulana Md. Hossain Ahmed Afsari and other Islamic scholars will participate in discussion. The milad mahfil will begin after the Isha prayers which will be conducted by Haji Syed Mohammad Barkatullah Badruddin.
Later, tabarak will be distributed among the devotees by convener of the programme Sayed Taiyab Morshed Araf, said a press release.
