Urmila Srabonti Kar is a popular television actress. She has won over many hearts with her acting prowess. Since the beginning of her career she has received many proposals to work in cinema but she refused as she didn’t find any scripts she liked.
But now for the first time in her career she is working on a film. The name of the film is ‘From Bangladesh’. The screenplay is written by Mishu Milon and directed by Shahnewaz Kakoli. The shooting is taking place in different areas of Manikganj and is 90 percent completed.
Urmila said, ‘When director Kakoli apa gave me the proposal of the film, I immediately agreed after hearing the story. The film’s storyline is very unique. My character in the film is very challenging. Kolkata actor Gazi Abdun Nur is acting opposite me in the film.’
‘I had the opportunity to work alongside talented actor Ferdousi Mazumdar in the film. My experience working for my first film was wonderful. The shooting will conclude on 10th November. I believe everyone will enjoy watching it. The film isn’t a commercial film. It is based on a strong storyline. Everyone can enjoy it with their family members.’
Actors Toma Mirza, Moushumi Nag, Hillol and others have appeared in the film as well.
