Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Thursday stressed up-skilling the investors in the country’s emerging capital market in a bid to strengthen the capital market.
“The economy of country is now much stronger, country is advancing faster, the development here is now visible and no doubt the country will turn into a developed nation by the year 2041and for which all concerned have to work effectively from their own position”, Minister added.
Tipu Munshi was addressing the inaugural session of the three-day ‘Capital Market Expo-2023’, organized by the online portal, specialized in capital market at the IDEB Bhaban, Kakrail in the capital.
Minister further stressed establishing trust of investors in the capital market so that the market could turn better from its negative image.
Editor of ‘Aurthosuchok’ Md Ziaur Rahman presided over the opening ceremony while BSEC Chairma, Prof. Shibly Rubayetul Islam addressed the event as guest of honor.
Chairman of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Eunusur Rahman, Chattogram Stock Exchange Chairman, Asif Ibrahim, BPLC President Anis Ud-Dowla, Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association President Richard D Rozario also spoke on the occasion among others.
