Country’s general people are now very cautious about choosing their next government. Apart from them, civil society members, university teachers, political analysts and free thinkers now want a government which stands by the people as ‘friend’. Therefore, they will never support a political party like Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) which patronise and shelter the killers of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the anti-liberation and communal forces as well.

We all know they had captured state power at gun point and taken revenge against country’s pro-liberation people and political parties including Awami League. Besides, general people do not want to witness the repetition of killings, corruptions, irregularities, and patronising of war criminals again.

The party’s violent activities during its rule created panic among the people. And the party has now become more desperate to grab the state power by any means.

We believe people from all strata of society imbued with the

spirit of the Liberation War will resist the evil forces who have

become  active to foil the next  general polls

It has already started making the election commission formation bill titled "Appointment of the chief election commissioner and election commissioners Bill, 2022" controversial. The bill was passed in the Jatiya Sangsad on Thursday aiming to form next commission under a new law.

The party still thinks no election commission will be able to hold a free and fair election unless it is held under a neutral caretaker government. And it is out to foil the next general elections by spreading different propagandas against the election commission formation bill.

The BNP is currently busy in plotting to foil the next polls as they had tried to foil the 2014 elections and hatched conspiracy during 2018 polls. However, we believe the countrymen would not give them any scope to do that.

Country’s people know it was the BNP, which had created anarchic situation in the country leading to the declaration of emergency in January 11, 2007, popularly known as 1/11 changeover. On the other hand, country's peace loving people and pro-liberation forces want to get rid of the curse of frequent terror acts patronised by what they say ‘BNP and its coalition partner Jamaat-e- Islami’.

People of the country are now divided in two quarters. One quarter believes in the spirit of the Liberation War and is united under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, while the other is an anti-liberation force united under the leadership of the BNP. Therefore, we believe people from all strata of society imbued with the spirit of the Liberation War will resist the evil forces who again have become very active to foil the next general polls.
