Even after being elected as a UP Member for reserved female seat from Mulgram Union under Chatmohar upazila of Pabna, Majeda Khatun said she will not abandon her profession as a tea seller.
Mejeda Khatun, a resident of Majgram village is a burning example of a female UP member who has shown how to become a public representative even after sitting in a shop and selling tea there.

Majeda Khatun said,' I am a poor woman. People love me very much that is why they have elected me with a huge vote. I would like to repay their debt.
Specially, I would like to serve the neglected poor female folks of my area. But, I would like to continue my profession as a tea-seller.
