Police of Tanore thana have arrested three people including union Awami League leader and Chairman of Saronjoy union of Tanore on Monday night and sent them to jail hajat custody on Tuesday.
According to sources, earlier warrant of arrest was issued against the Saronjoy Union Parishad Chairman and President of Saronjoy union unit of Awami League Abdul Malek ( 52) son of late Abdul Hakim Mondal of village Sidhair, Ahsan Habib alias Ripon(30) son of Altaf Hossain of Mashinda village and Mainul Islam(40) son of late Golam Ali of village Aira for their alleged involvement in corruption.
Police arrested them from their respective houses on Monday night. Rakibul Hasan, Officer-in-charge of Tanore thana informed Union Chairman of Saronjoy and two others were arrested from their houses as warrant of arrest was issued against them. They have been sent to the jail custody on Tuesday.
