Sujanagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mir Rasheduzzaman Rashed taught a sixth grade class and a ninth grade class in Kamalpur High School in Sujanagar Uapzila on Thursday.
The school is situated in a remote area in Sujanagar Upazila. The UNO gave English lesson to a sixth grade class and History and Social Science lesson to a ninth grade class in Kamalpur High School.
During the classes, he advised the students about developing moral values, being inspired with patriotism and love towards humanity, studying attentively to become a good human being, practicing correct spelling and attending class regularly. Besides that, he said he will provide all kinds of help to the students to prevent child marriage and eve teasing.
About the UNO’s teaching on Thursday, ninth grade student Masuma Akter said they are proud and happy to have the UNO as their teacher. He inspired the students to study and become successful. They learned a lot of new things from the UNO, she said.
A sixth grade student, Monir Hossain, said the UNO took their English class. He came to the class and asked them various questions on the subject. They liked the UNO’s class a lot, said Moni Hossain.
Moreover, the UNO went to various classes and exchanged views with the students. He also asked about the overall condition of their study. Headmaster of the school, Abul Kashem, was present at that time.
UNO Mir Rasheduzzaman Rashed said he likes to teach the students a lot. There is nothing more enjoyable than teaching and spreading knowledge. It is a wonderful thing to teach students. There are two benefits of that. First of all, he can teach the students of the school. Secondly, he can also observe on-site if there is any problem in that school. He also said that the importance of education is immense in building a developed and flourished nation. It is a matter of real pride for him to play a role in the development of the education sector as a citizen of the country and an employee of the republic. He said he will work to bring a positive change in upazila education sector by inspiring students, teachers, guardians and everyone.
Visiting all the educational institutions will continue in order to achieve real education and develop a standard educational environment, said UNO Mir Rasheduzzaman Rashid.
