Union Bank Ltd., a private sector bank on Tuesday signed an agreement on Automated Challan System (ACS) with Bangladesh Bank.
Under this agreement all the branch and sub-branches of Union Bank will collect Passport Fees, VAT, TAX and other government fees.
In the presence of chief guest of the program
Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Ahmed Jamal attended the ceremony as chief guest while Md. Forkan Hossain, General Manager of Bangladesh Bank and A. B. M. Mokammel Hoque Chowdhury, Managing Director of Union Bank signed the agreement.
AKM Mohiuddin Azad, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank and Md. Abdul Kader, SEVP and Focal Person ofUnion Bank and high officials of the both organizations were present at the ceremony.
