Union Bank holds annual business confce

The Annual Business Conference 2024 of Union Bank PLC. held on Thursday in Dhaka. Managing Director& CEO of the bank ABM Mokammel Hoque Chowdhury presided over the conference while the Chairman of the bank Professor Dr. Md. Salim Uddin FCA FCMA was present as the chief guest in the conference. Vice-Chairman of the bank Mollah Fazle Akbar, PhD, ndc, psc, Deputy Managing Director Shafiuddin Ahmed and Md. Jahangir Alam were present as special guests. 

Besides, Heads ofDivision at Head Office and Branch Managers of the bank were present at the conference. In the welcome address Managing Director & CEO of the bank ABM Mokammel Hoque Chowdhury congratulated all participants for the success of business and advised all to achieve the Business Target set for 2024 through providing best possible customer service. 

The chief guest of the conference and Chairman of the bank Professor Dr. Md. Salim Uddin FCA FCMA emphasized the importance of maintaining exemplary level of customer services and business operations that Union Bank has established both domestically and internationally. 

He encouraged the bank to strive towards becoming the foremost banking institution, setting a benchmark in excellence for others to follow. This ambition, he noted, should be pursued with a steadfast commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction and ethical banking practices, ensuring Union Bank's continued growth and leadership in the financial sector.  In his address as the special guest, Mollah Fazle Akbar PhD, ndc, psc, Vice-Chairman of Union Bank, articulated a compelling vision for the institution. He recognized Union Bank as a premier fourth-generation bank and emphasized the pivotal role of its employees in this success. He urged every member of the Union Bank team to push the boundaries of achievement even further by delivering superior services. Dr. Akbar stressed the importance of continuous improvement and dedication to excellence, highlighting that the collective effort of all employees is essential to not only maintain but also elevate the bank's distinguished position in the banking sector.
