UNB, Rajshahi: Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from a pond in Ward No. 3 of Charghat municipality of Rajshahi on Sunday evening.
Mizanur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charghat Model Police Station said, locals noticed a foul smell coming from the pond around 3:00 pm on Sunday and recovered the body of the youth wearing a blue T-shirt and black pant.
.On information, Charghat Police went to the spot and retrieved the body around 6:00 pm, he added.
OC Mizanur Rahman further said the body has been sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
An unnatural death case has been filed at the police station in this connection.
