Police have recovered the body of an unidentified young man from the Patwartek beach area in Jaliapalong Union, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday.
Locals spotted the body lying on the sand and immediately informed the police.
Inani Police Outpost In-Charge Durjoy Sarkar confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased appeared to be around 30 years old. He was found unclothed, with three visible injuries on his face. Efforts are underway to identify him.
Local resident Mohammad Kaisar said, “We informed the police after discovering the body. They arrived and took necessary action.”
According to Officer Sarkar, the body has been sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.
