MP from Gopalganj-2 constituency Dr. Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim’s younger son Barrister Sheikh Fazle Naeem delivered food items to the houses of the unemployed women in Gopalganj district town on the instructions of the government to prevent the spread of novel corona virus across the country.
On Wednesday morning, Nasima Akter Rubel, President of Gopalganj District Women's Awami League unit and Chairperson of the National Women's Organization’s Gopalganj unit along with other women leaders delivered the food items to the homes of unemployed women living in different areas of Gopalganj municipal area maintaining social distance.
Barrister Sheikh Fazle Naeem arranged for the food items including rice, pulses, salt, onions, potatoes, oil and soap bought for these distressed people at his own finance to be delivered.
The recipients of these relief were overjoyed to receive the bag containing the food items unexpectedly. They thanked MP Sheikh Selim and his son Barrister Sheikh Fazle Naeem at the time.
