ULKASEMI, the leader in Bangladesh’s semiconductor industry, is proud to unveiling a redesigned logo and launch an ambitious plan to create 500 semiconductor jobs by 2025 and 5,000 by 2030, focusing on nurturing local talent.

Over 90% of recruitment will be from Bangladesh, supported by comprehensive training programs to prepare graduates for technically challenging roles. This initiative underscores ULKASEMI’s commitment to developing high-value careers for the next generation of engineers while driving national economic growth.

Marking a new chapter in its 17-year journey, ULKASEMI is unveiling a redesigned logo that represents its evolution from a pioneering IC design company to a global leader in semiconductor innovation.

Mohammed Enayetur Rahman, CEO & President of ULKASEMI, said, ‘With our new initiatives, we aim to not only create jobs but also foster a culture of innovation and excellence that places Bangladesh on the global semiconductor map.’

ULKASEMI envisions transforming Bangladesh into a multi-billion-dollar semiconductor market by 2030. With the right government and private sector support, the country can grow its semiconductor sector to $1 billion and potentially $16 billion, creating over 1 million jobs.

The global semiconductor market is on a growth trajectory, projected to rise from $452.25 billion in 2021 to $803.15 billion by 2028, driven by AI, IoT, and machine learning.
