Mohammed Abdul Kaium, Chief Executive Officer of UK & GLOBAL TRADE LTD (trading name UK GLOBAL PROPERTIES), a United Kingdom-based company, has been honoured with the prestigious Best Entrepreneur Award at the Bangla Eurovision Community Awards 2026, held in Athens, Greece.
The award was presented in recognition of his outstanding achievements in business, entrepreneurship, and community engagement during the colourful three-day Bangla Eurovision Awards 2026, which took place from 12 to 14 June 2026 in Athens.
Bangla Eurovision, an international, non-political platform dedicated to promoting unity and celebrating the achievements of expatriate Bangladeshis, organised the event to showcase inspiring stories of sacrifice, struggle, and success from Bangladeshi communities around the world.
During the ceremony, distinguished expatriates were recognised for their contributions to education, culture, community service, professional excellence, business, commerce, and humanitarian activities.
In addition to receiving the Best Entrepreneur Award, Mr Kaium served as the Project Director and Chief Sponsor of the event.
Among those addressing the gathering were Idris Ali Aziz, President of the Organising Committee; Jahir Dakua, Organiser and CEO of the event; Wali Tashar Uddin, President of the European Business Federation and Chief Adviser; and Faisal Chowdhury, former British Member of Parliament.
Speaking to the media, Mr Kaium said that UK & GLOBAL TRADE LTD is a UK-based company specialising in worldwide real estate investment services through its trading name UK GLOBAL PROPERTIES, as well as international business development and commercial project management.
“I am always eager to learn and explore new opportunities. My career and academic journey reflect a strong commitment to growth, innovation, and professional excellence,” said Mr Kaium.
A highly accomplished business professional, Mr Kaium earned an MBA in Finance and Management from Bangor University, United Kingdom, in 2011. He previously completed a BSc in Business Management from the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2003.
He began his professional career in Sales and Marketing in 2005 with Adept Financial Marketing Ltd, before moving into the banking sector in 2007. He served as a Finance Manager at Nationwide Building Society until 2012, after which he established UK & GLOBAL TRADE LTD in November 2012.
With over 15 years of experience as a business leader and director, six years in retail banking, and two years in direct sales and marketing, Mr Kaium has built a reputation as a dynamic, target-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success.
Throughout his career, he has received several notable recognitions, including:
