Two school students, who were riding a motorcycle lost control over their vehicle and crashed into a tree in Jamalpur.
The accident took place at Shahbajpur Chowrasta of Shahbajpur Union in Jamalpur Sadar Upazila on Friday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Kakan (15) and Sinhad (14).
According to local residents, Kakon, son of Sohel Rana of Shahbajpur Kacharipara village in Shahbajpur Union of Jamalpur Sadar Upazila and Sinhad, son of Sumon Mia of Pingalhati village were returning home on a motorcycle after playing cricket.
On the way back, the motorcycle lost control and dashed a tree on the side of the road in Shahbazpur Chowrasta area, seriously injuring the two students.
In this situation, local residents rescued and took them to Jamalpur General Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared them dead.
The deceased Kakon was a class 10 student of Shahbazpur High School while Sinhad Hasil was a 8th class student of high school.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jamalpur Sadar Police Station Muhammad Mohabbat confirmed the death of Kabir in the accident and said that the police were sent to the spot, but no one filed any complaint in this regard.
The bodies handed over to the families without a post-mortem examination on the family's request.
