Pori Moni is the popular heroine of Dhakai cinema. Her two movies are ‘Bishwoshundori’ and 'Goonin'. On Tuesday the movies are being screened at the '4th Bangladesh Film Festival' in Kolkata.
‘Bishwoshundori’ directed by Chayanika Chowdhury was shown today from 1 pm to 3.30 pm. Siam Ahmed acted opposite Pori Moni in the movie. 'Goonin' directed by Gias Uddin Salim will be shown on Tuesday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Shariful Raj is opposite Pori Moni in this movie.
Meanwhile, the '4th Bangladesh Film Festival' in Kolkata which started from October 29 will continue till November 2 tomorrow. And 37 Bangladeshi films will be screened in this festival. The film festival is under the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Bangladesh and under the management of the Bangladesh Sub-High Commission in Kolkata.
It is known that Bangladeshi films are being screened in Nandan-1, 2 and 3 halls. Halls remain open to visitors.
