After four weeks of a clueless murder the police bureau of investigation (PBI) arrested two accused including a woman from separate two districts.
The arrested two accused have already given confessional statements to the judicial magistrate court admitting their involvement with killing a woman.
The arrested are Jibon,30, son of Iyakub of Cumilla district and Nusrat Jahan Meem,40, daughter of Mannan of Potuakhali district.
AL Mamun Sikdar, police super of Narayanganj PBI delivered the information in a media brief at his office on Tuesday.
Narayanganj sadar model police on March 03,2024 recovered an unknown female body packed in a sack from Syedpur area.
After a day the deceased was identified and her brother filed a murder case with police against the unknown accused.
The deceased was identified as Anonya Kormokar, 35, daughter of Nogendra Kormokar of Jalokathi district and lived at Syedpur area as a tenant of a residence.
PBI claimed that the both accused killed the woman in a bid to grab fifty thousand taka from her position.
After killing the woman to conceal the identity of the deceased they dumped the body in a roadside ditch.
