Two motorcyclists were killed in a head-on collision between their motorcycle and a bus on the Satkhira-Assasuni highway road in Kalerdanga area under Sadar upazila of Satkhira district on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Moyez Hossain,22, son of Arefin Sheikh, resident of Sheikhpara of Dahakula village under Assasuni upazila of the district and Mohin Hossain,23, son of Nafizuddin of Rayer Mahal area of Khulna district.
The accident occurred when they were going to Brahmarajpur Bazar. The motorcycle collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction at around 12.30pm this afternoon leaving the duo dead on the spot, officer- in-charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station Mahidul Islam said.
