Two motorcyclists were killed in a head-on collision between a CNG-run auto rickshaw and a motorcycle in front of Kamta Bazar Chowdhury Bari area in Subidpur east union under Faridganj upazila of Chandpur district on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Abdur Rahman, 28, son of Md. Abu Taher Mia, resident of Punishair village of the upazila and Md Sohag, 22, son of Md Imam Hussain, resident of the same area.
The accident occurred in the area when they were going to Kamta Bazar, collided head-on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw coming from the opposite direction around 9.30pm, they were seriously injured, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandpur Sadar Model Police Station Sheikh Mohsin Alam said.
