A man was killed over house rent dues in Narayanganj’s Bandar upazilas and another was murdered by his younger brother in Araihazar upazila on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Foyez,40, son of Abul Mia hailing from Munshiganj’ Charbalaki village and a tenant at Choudhuri Bari area of Bandar upazila, and Fazlu mia,65, son of Goni Mia, resident of Brahmondi village of Araihazar upazila.
Police and locals said that Foyez was a tenant at Umme Kulsum house and had his house rent dues for several. Officer-In-Charge of Bandar Police Station Fakruddin Bhuiyan confirmed the matter.
In another incident, a man was killed by his younger brother at Brahmondi village of Araihazar upazila following an altercation over a trifle matter. OC of Nazrul Islam of Araihazar Police Station confirmed the matter. Separate murder cases were filed with the respective police station in this connection.
