Two people were killed being hit by a truck in Bagan Bazar Signboard area in Trishal upazila on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Fazlu Mia, 50 and Alauddin Mia, 70 , hailed from Narayanpur village under the upazila.
Azizur Rahman, Officer-In-Charge of Trishal Police Station, said a Mymensingh-bound truck knocked them down while they were returning home from a tea stall around 7:30 am, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue.
