Two youths were killed in a road accident at Monirampur College area on Jashore-Chuknagar road under Monirampur upazila on Wednesday night 11:30 pm.
The deceased were identified as Masud Rana, 26, son of Ayub Morol resident of Nornia village under Dumuria upazila in Khulna and Rakib Morol,25, son of Ali Morol hailed from in the same area.
Ripon Hossain, elder brother of deceased Masud Rana, told that his brother Masud and another youth, Rakib, went to Jashore on Wednesday afternoon to buy motorcycle goods.
The accident happened on the way back from Jashore to Chuknagar on riding motorcycle at night. Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Monirampur Police Station, told that being informed by local people, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
Another injured was sent to Jashore 250-bed general hospital. Police also seized the Motorcycle.
A case has been lodged with Monirampur Police Station in this connection. Police try to find out the cause of the accident the OC added.
