Two people were killed when a truck ran over them in Brahmanbaria's Bijaynagar.
The accident took place on Wednesday morning at a place called Shasai in the upazila of Dhaka-Sylhet highway. The deceased are Mizanur Rahman (60), son of deceased Sujat Ali of East Medda area of the district city, and Mahim Uddin (39), son of Zainal Abedin of Zafarabad area of Chandpur district headquarters. Khatihata Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sukhendra Basu said that the accident occurred when a Dhaka-bound truck hit a power trolley coming from the opposite direction in the morning. The police went to the spot after receiving the information and recovered the body. Two bodies have been handed over to the relatives without any complaint.
