RAB has arrested two men along with 10kg hemp under Bajitpur upazila in Kishoreganj on Tuesday.
RAB-14 (CPC-2) conducted an operation on the basis of secret information and arrested them. The arrested were Sahangir Mia (30) son of Sahajan Mia and Anser Ali (42) son of Late Isha Mia of village Berin under Nasirnagar in B.Baria District.
According to RAB sources, Sahangir and Anser were selling hemp in different places of the district including Bajitpur for a long time. After the RAB came to know about it on the basis of secret information, they were kept under surveillance. Later on Tuesday, they conducted an operation and arrested them along with 10kg hemp. RAB-14, CPC-2, Kishoreganj Camp Company Commander Lt. Commander M. Shovon Khan BN said they were detained with hemp in a raid in Patuli Ghat area under Bajitpur upazila.
A case has been filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act 2018 at Bajitpur Police Station.
