Maheshpur Correspondent: Two drug dealers were arrested with a large quantity of Yaba tablets during a late-night army operation in Maheshpur’s Jogihuda village. Acting on specific intelligence, army personnel launched the raid on Monday.
Initially, a man named Kajol Mia (42) was detained, and Yaba tablets were recovered from him. Based on his confession, a raid was conducted at the house of a man named Malek, who managed to escape. However, his associate Tutu Mia (45) was arrested from the scene.
In total, 364 Yaba tablets, 13 control tablets, 84 foil pieces, and various drug-taking paraphernalia were seized.
The army confirmed that both detainees would be handed over to Maheshpur Police following initial interrogation.
