A two-day training workshop and closing ceremony on 'Mobile Journalism' was organized by Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB).
The training workshop was organized on Monday and Tuesday at Munshiganj Circuit House Conference Room.
The objective of this training is to improve the professional skills of local journalists of Munshiganj in using mobile devices in the traditional news making techniques and become proficient in making news for multi-purpose platforms.
The workshop covers journalism, mojo, changing journalism, mobile settings, camera settings, general rules of video recording, audio recording using microphone, mobile camera framing, practical techniques of video recording, landscape, short division, interview framing, B-roll, sequence, Transit shots, mobile shooting, content storage on mobile, data verification, video story editing, live streaming techniques, principles and ethics practices in mobile
journalism are discussed in detail in the training.
PIB Director General Zafar Wazed, trainer Parveen Sultana Rabi and Dr. Jamil Khan were present as trainers in this two-day workshop.
Alhajj Md. Mohiuddin, Chairman of Munshiganj District Council and President of Munshiganj District Awami League was present as the chief guest on the concluding day. Director General of PIB Zafar Wazed was present as the chairman of the meeting. Advocate Sohana Tahmina, editor and publisher of Munshiganj Khabar Patrika, District Information Officer Deepak Chandra Das and 35 trainees who participated in the workshop were also present. At the end of the workshop, the trainees were given certificates and awards.
