Two-day digital innovation fair begins in Narail

A two-day long digital innovation fair-2022 has begun at the district shilpakala academy premises on Wednesday morning.

The main theme of the fair is 'Udbhabony Joyullashe Smart Bangladesh'.

Narail-2 constituency MP Mashrafi Bin Mortuza virtually inaugurated the fair as the chief guest with deputy commissioner (DC)  Muhammad Habibur Rahman in the chair, organised by the district administration.

Speakers said we have successfully completed the vision 2021 and heading towards vision 2041. The government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to build a 'smart digitalized Bangladesh' based on information technology by 2041. The government is working to increase technology skills, create innovation and connect people with technology, they added. MP also viewed that the rate of technological advancement in Bangladesh is increasing day by day and the young generation can make it faster. After the inauguration, guests visited the stalls of the fair.

Zilla Parishad Chairman and District Awami League President Advocate Subas Chandra Bose and Superintendent of Police Sadira Khatun spoke as special guests.Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-General) Md. Fakrul Hasan, Narail Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sadia Islam, Narail Municipality Mayor Anjuman Ara, Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) Deputy Director (DD) Dipak Kumar Roy, District Animal Resources Officer Dr Md Maruf Hasan, District Fisheries Officer HM Badruzzaman, Ansar VDP District Commandant Bikash Chandra Das, Principal of Narail Technical Trainning Centre (TTC) Md.Shamim Hossen, among others, were present at the inaugural session. The Mela will be conclude tomorrow.  A total of 32 stalls of various government departments, educational institutions and other institutions have been set up at the fair.
