In a raid, members of Gazipur Purabari camp of RAB-1 arrested two decoits from Gazariapara village under Gazipur city on Tuesday morning. The arrestees are identified as Shahid Mia, 30 and Matiur Rahman, 25. They lived in a rented house in the village
Abdullah Al Mamun, commender of the camp led the raid. Confirming the news Abdullah Al Mamun informed that the arrestees were handed over to Gazipur Metro Police Station.
Two knives and rod cutter machine were recovered from the arrestees, he added. It was also known from the villagers that the arrestees have involvement in decoity in local areas.
