Two bodies recovered in 24 hours

In Pabna's Chatmohar, police recovered two bodies in 24 hours. An unidentified half-decomposed body of a teenager was recovered from Gumani River near Gaurnagar village in Nimaichara union of the upazila around 11am on Saturday.

Earlier on Friday (August 20) noon, police recovered another half-decomposed body of a missing auto driver named Emon (18) from a bridge near the Chatmohar-Mannan Nagar road.

Chatmohar Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Hossain said on August 21, locals spotted a half-dead body floating in the Gumani River at the ghat adjacent to Baitul Ibrahim New Jame Mosque in Gaurnagar, Nimaichara Union. 

Police recovered the body after receiving the news. The body was decomposed and decomposed. His name was not identified. Police and locals believe it is the body of a 12/13 year old girl. 

On Friday (August 20), police recovered the half-decomposed body of a missing auto driver named Emon (16) floating in the water of a beel near a bridge near Darappur village on the Chatmohar-Mannan Nagar road. His hands and feet were tied with ropes. A case was filed in this incident on Friday. 

Police conducted a massive operation on Friday night and arrested four people involved in Emon's murder. According to the information given by the detainees, the police were also able to recover the hijacked auto from Ullapara area of Sirajganj.
