Members of Smart Patrol Team of West Forest Department have seized two boats while catching crabs in sanctuary area of the Sundarbans on Saturday morning. In the meantime, fishermen of the boat managed to flee the scene. Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) of Satkhira MA Hasan confirmed the matter.
Hasan said SO of the Smart Patrol Team Dewan Mijanur Rahman lead the drive and seized the two boats. Later, he handed over the boats to Kanchikata Forest Office for allegedly infiltrating the Sundarbans area.
