Bangladeshi fashion brand Twelve Clothing has unveiled its Durga Puja 2026 collection, bringing together traditional motifs and contemporary silhouettes for festive dressing across generations.
Inspired by the geometric patterns of South Indian Kolam and the artistic heritage of Santiniketan’s Alpana, the collection offers a range of outfits for women, men, teenagers and children, with an emphasis on creating a coordinated family wardrobe.
Kolam, traditionally created with rice flour to decorate courtyards, is known for geometric symmetry, continuous lines and auspicious motifs. Twelve Clothing has incorporated these elements into its garments through restrained patterns placed around necklines, chest areas, sleeve borders and lower sections.
The collection also draws from Bengali Alpana traditions, featuring motifs inspired by lotus flowers, foliage, curved leaves and geometric floor designs. These elements appear prominently on women’s outfits and more subtly on men’s panjabis.
For women, the collection includes three-piece salwar-kameez sets, two-piece outfits, kurtis, long kurtas and gown-inspired dresses. Vibrant shades such as red, orange, pink and deeper tones reflect the festive spirit, while grey, earthy colours, light green, white and brown offer more understated options.
The range for teenage girls and young women combines colourful motifs with contemporary cuts and comfortable silhouettes designed for ease of movement. Adult women can choose from comparatively subtle designs featuring Kolam and Alpana-inspired detailing.
Men’s offerings include a variety of panjabis, ranging from short, round-neck styles paired with dhotis to longer designs with understated motifs. Colours include red, maroon, blue, white, brown, yellow and earthy shades, along with lighter options.
The collection also includes coordinated styles for children, allowing family members of different age groups to maintain visual harmony while wearing distinct silhouettes.
While the collection does not separately specify fabric names, the designs emphasise comfortable cuts and breathable materials suitable for extended festive activities.
By combining two distinct artistic traditions with contemporary fashion, Twelve Clothing’s Durga Puja 2026 collection seeks to offer festive wear that balances cultural influences, modern styling and everyday comfort for the entire family.
