TV channels chalk out progs on Nazrul’s death anniv

Today is the 44th death anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. On the occasion, various channels have organized dramas, telefilms as well as various programs. These programs are arranged below by Bangladesh Post today.

Channel-i

On the occasion of Nazrul’s death anniversary, the program will start airing on Channel I at 7.30 am with the program ‘Gaan Diye Shruru’. After that, the program ‘Shorashori Nazrul’ will be broadcast at 11:05 am with the direct participation of the audience. The program will be conducted by Amirul Islam. At 3:05 pm there is a Bengali movie ‘Rakkhushi’. 

The film is directed by Matin Rahman and produced by Impress Telefilm. Ferdous, Purnima, Rozina and others have acted in this film. The late journalist Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury has scripted it based on Kazi Nazrul Islam’s ‘Rakkhushi’ story. 

The drama ‘Jonaki Jole’ based on Kazi Nazrul Islam’s short story will be aired at7:50 pm. Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar has directed the drama in the screenplay of Gitali Hasan. Nazrul Sangeet’s special program ‘Sonar Hindole’ will be shown at 8:25 pm. The show was produced by Ijaz Khan Swapan with the performance of eminent Nazrul musician Ferdous Ara.

NTV

On the occasion of the death anniversary of the poet Nazrul, a special musical program ‘Antare Tumi Acho Chirodin’ will be broadcast at 6:15 am today. Produced by Humayun Farid, Khairul Anam Shakil, Yaqub Ali Khan, Leena Tapsi Khan, Yasmeen Mushtari, Ferdous Ara and MA Mannan will perform various religious songs of Nazrul. At 6:45 pm, a special dance title ‘A Ki Aparup Rupe Ma Tomar’ will be broadcast. The show is produced by Alfred Khokon and presented by Shakila Matin Mridula. Participated - Chandni, Nisa, Sohail, Shaon and others.

Maasranga Television

On the day of Kazi Nazrul Islam’s death, a special drama ‘East Window Closed’ will be aired on Maasranga Television at 8 pm tonight. It is based on Kazi Nazrul Islam’s play ‘Jhilimili’. Azad Abul Kalam, Labonno Liza, Rahmat Ali, Laila Hasan and others have acted in the script and direction of Proshanto Adhikari. As can be seen in the story, the poet Habib and Mirza house’s daughter Firoza love each other. Habib could not pass BA. He writes poems and plays the flute. That is why Mirza does not like Habib. He informed Firoza that he would not marry her until he passed BA. Meanwhile, Firoza is suffering from an incurable disease. The doctor informed that he did not have much time. Mirza always kept the window on the east side of Firoza’s house closed as the sound of Habib’s flute could be heard. Firoza, who was on her death bed, requested her father to open the window for the last time.

Duronto TV

On the occasion of the death anniversary of the national poet, special drama ‘Planchet’ based on Kazzi Nazrul’s story will be aired on Duronto Television.

The play ‘Planchet’ directed by Nahid Ahmed Pial is based on the audio drama ‘Planchet’ written by the rebellious poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. In the play you can see the ghost of the three sisters of the house. 

The younger brother will fulfill this wish of theirs. When the planchet started the four brothers and sisters started to see ghosts. Many people including Tapoti, Urbi, Adri and Yamin have acted in the funny drama ‘Planchet’. The play ‘Planchet’ will be aired on Duronto Television on Thursday, August 27 at 5 pm.

Besides, on the occasion of the 44th death anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, a special dance program – ‘Unnoto Momo Shir’ will be aired on Duronto Television. Choreographed by Amit Chowdhury, the show will feature dancers from dance organization ‘Sadhona’ - Rudmila Priyanti Chowdhury, Arisha Chowdhury, Noholi Islam Riya, Labonno Das Gupta, Mahinur Mahjabin Rup, Anuva Chowdhury, Madhurima Roy will perform.

A special dance performance directed by Partho Pratim Haldar will be broadcast on Friday, August 27 at 5 pm.
