BGMEA President Faruque Hassan on Wednesday said “we are focusing on remodelling our business from labour-intensive to a value-added one through innovation, modernization, diversification, technology upgrading, and up-skilling and re-skilling our workforce”.
He was addressing a press conference organised at a hotel in the capital on Wednesday ahead of the GTB 2024, an International Trade Shows focused on Garment Machinery & Allied Products concurrent with GAP Expo showcasing Garment Accessories & Packaging aiding the technology sourcing needs of the Bangladesh RMG sector.
Faruque said “with less than 7% global market share, we have clear potential ahead of us.” Faruque Hassan, President, BGMEA”.
The show is scheduled to be held between January 11 and 14 at the International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka.
21st edition of GTB 2024 – Garment Technology Show Bangladesh 2024, 13th edition of GAPEXPO 2024 – International Garment Accessories & Packaging Expo jointly organised with Bangladesh Garment Accessories Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association, are being held under one platform catering to the sourcing needs of RMG sector.
