A new service of Truck Lagbe - the largest online truck hiring platform in Bangladesh, was launched at a ceremony at its office in Dhaka on Saturday.
The new service namely ‘Truck Lagbe Express’ will allow customers rent mini trucks and pickups within minutes. Mini trucks and pickups of 1-ton and 7 feet capacity are being used in this service, said a press release.
Meanwhile, Truck Lagbe app is available for free in Google play store (http://trucklag.be/App) and Apple app store.
The benefit of Truck Lagbe Express is that truck reaches pick location just after customer requests for it. In this case, the customer needs to mention pick and drop location only. However, this service is offered for trips originated from Mirpur and unloaded anywhere within Dhaka city.
By the end of June 2019, this service will spread throughout Dhaka city. Considering customers interest, here in this service, Truck Lagbe offers discount also. For first three Express trips each, customers will get a maximum of 500-taka discount by using the promo code: EXP500
'Truck Lagbe' has been working for more than one and a half years. In 'Express' service the rental price is fixed for customers which is competitive with the market price and affordable too.
It is expected that the service will increase the effectiveness of the transportation services sector and both drivers and shippers will benefit from using this service.
